Hermanus Pietersfontein

Weekend 14 - 15 May 2011, arriving at Kleinboet at 19H15 after a wrong turn on the dirt road,  next door is Bloos and at the back, Swartskaap.
Saturday morning greeted us with ghostly veils of mist hanging between the trees and on the hill, a choir of toads are singing somewhere.
An Ibis is calling his mate and far away I can hear a Bokmakierie.
The air is fresh, crisp and fresh!  What a stunning place to rejuvenate and find peace... Hermanus Pietersfontein's cottages outside Stanford!

Wonderful area to take stunning pics.

Kleinboet, Bloos and Swartskaap are all names of Hermanus Pietersfontein wines.  Swartskaap, a Platter 4 star Cabernet Franc wooded for 15 months in half new French oak..... Bloos, the very popular Rose and Kleinboet, an easy drinking Bordeaux blend.

Visiting Hermanus Pietersfontein's cellar in Hermanus is always enjoyable.  Farmers market Saturdays 9 - 1.
